ICY WILDERNESS OF THE NORTH
Svalbard is considered one of the last frontiers at a latitude of 78°N. Few people have travelled and experienced the beauty of the Arctic this far north. Our insider access adventure on snowmobile guarantees an expedition in one of the northernmost inhabited regions of Europe. You will tackle the snow and ice, travelling back in time to the abandoned Russian mining town of Pyramiden and across vast arctic wilderness along the Isfjorden in search of polar bears.
The isolation of the Lofoten archipelago away from the Norwegian tourist hotspots makes this our recommended place to see the northern lights. Experience the Norwegian Arctic off the beaten path, combining outdoor activities (sea kayaking and fishing) and gourmet experiences in quaint fishing villages and a private island in the fjords of northern Norway.
