In March, Benja and I travelled to Puerto Williams, the southernmost inhabited city in the world! Here, at the end of the world on Navarino Island, we began our 5-day scouting expedition which circled the Dientes de Navarino mountain range. This was named after the sharp, jagged mountain peaks which look like teeth. Unlike the national parks in other parts of Patagonia, Navarino Island is still very much off the radar; the lack of other trekkers in this pristine environment is really a luxury!
We now offer this expedition with fixed-date departures from Punta Arenas in December 2018 and January 2019. Find out more here!
